Deep honey amber and cinnamon bark ripples in a full 5/16 in (8 mm) of solid cork: warmth you can see and feel underfoot. Autumn Ripple is one of the most popular cork patterns sold, moving thousands of square feet every year, and this glue-down tile delivers it in a generous 5/16 in (8 mm) thickness. The pattern flows with deep honey amber and terra brown splashes over a strong orange undertone, while rippling eddies of darker cinnamon bark add depth and complexity. The effect is both calming and warm, an easy way to revitalize or soften a room. Each tile is 12 in x 24 in x 5/16 in (305 mm x 610 mm x 8 mm) of natural cork through and through. The square-edged, straight-cut design installs seamlessly, so the finished floor reads as one large continuous surface rather than a grid of tiles. More cork means more warmth and more comfort with every step. Because the tile is 100 percent low-density, sound-absorbing cork, no separate underlayment is required. Cork's honeycomb structure is roughly 50 percent air, with 30 to 40 million cells in every cubic centimeter, which is why this floor cushions your feet, quiets the room, and holds warmth in winter. The bark can be harvested without felling the tree; cork oaks can live up to 250 years and typically renew harvestable bark on a nine-year cycle.
