Application & Coverage

• Coats Required

  • For untreated natural cork: three coats. First coat dries ~2-4 hours; second overnight to minimize granule swelling; then finish with the final coat.

  • For prefinished cork:  two coats after light sanding/preparation.

• Coverage
  Approximately 750 sq.ft per 5kg per coat depending on porosity and condition of surface.

• Working Conditions
  Best applied at temperatures between 55-80 °F (13-27 °C) with relative humidity of 40-75%. Be sure to thoroughly mix base and hardener (ratio 10:1), avoid thin application, ensure good ventilation.

How to Apply Loba AT?

5KG covers up to 750sf when applied properly

Important: These liquids are temperature-sensitive and will fail if exposed to temperatures less than 5 degrees Celsius (40F). We take steps to avoid merchandise from freezing during transportation. The customer is responsible for bringing all liquids inside at the time of delivery and inspecting them upon arrival. Please open the carton to ensure the product is still in liquid form. iCork Floor must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery if the product arrives “frozen” (in a solid condition – not liquid) or damaged. Failure to notify iCork Floor within 48 hours of damaged/frozen goods prohibits the customer from pursuing a replacement claim with iCork Floor, Cancork Floor, or Forna. Purchases of liquids such as adhesive and polyurethane are non-refundable and we are not giving refunds for liquids.
