Warm, quiet, and rated for commercial wear: a 7/16 in (11 mm) Swiss real cork plank that clicks together without glue or nails. Rhythm is a floating cork plank with a genuine 0.12 in (3 mm) natural cork wear surface, the thickest tier of this Swiss-made floating line. Under the surface, each plank is built in three layers: the 0.12 in (3 mm) cork top, a 0.27 in (6.8 mm) E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core, and a 0.05 in (1.2 mm) agglomerated cork backing. The core carries the Uniclic click-lock profile, so planks lock edge to edge and float over the subfloor. Edges are square with no bevel, giving the finished floor a clean, continuous surface. Underfoot is where cork earns its keep. Roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter insulate the surface, so the floor stays comfortable for bare feet even in winter. That same honeycomb structure absorbs impact sound rather than reflecting it, and the material is permanently elastic, so it is gentle on ankles through long days of standing and walking. The HotCoating surface protection, finished with a high-resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane, pushes durability to commercial class 33 and guards against spills of many kinds. That makes Rhythm at home in busy households (domestic class 23, 15-year warranty) and in commercial spaces (class 33, 5-year warranty) alike.
