American Red Oak Cork Flooring

The warm grain of American red oak on a 7/16 in (11mm) Swiss engineered cork plank: quiet, cushioned, and rated for full commercial traffic. American Red Oak pairs a classic oak look with everything cork does best. Each plank carries a 1/8 in (3 mm) natural cork wear surface over a 0.27 in (6.8 mm) E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, finished with a 0.05 in (1.2 mm) agglomerated cork backing. That full 7/16 in (11mm) build is why this floor feels solid underfoot yet stays permanently elastic. Step on it barefoot and you notice the difference immediately. Cork's cell structure (roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter) insulates against cold, so the floor holds a comfortable temperature all year, even in winter. The same honeycomb structure absorbs impact, cutting impact sound by 18 dB and going easy on knees and ankles. Durability comes from the HotCoating surface protection topped with a high resistant Natural Shield water base polyurethane. The result is a class 33 commercial and class 23 domestic rating: this floor is at home in busy living rooms, offices, and even a gym room. The patented Uniclic click lock snaps together as a floating floor with tight, watertight joints and no glue or nails. Cork is also a genuinely sustainable choice. It is peeled from the bark of the cork oak without damaging or felling the tree; a cork oak can live up to 200 years and be harvested up to 20 times.

The adapted click system exceeds European standards, eliminating open joints and ensuring stability. Because the lock is so tight, installation takes a little extra effort: always tap planks together with an 8 in (20 cm) taping block.
