Cool, layered grays in a classic ribbon pattern: a solid cork tile that quiets a room the moment it goes down.

Gray Bamboo takes the traditional birch, or ribbon, cork pattern and dresses it in a soothing blend of gray and taupe. Subtle hints of lilac and traces of light moss weave through multiple layers of gray, so the floor reads calm and contemporary up close and from across the room. It is a stained cork, which means the color runs with the natural grain instead of hiding it.

Each tile is a full 1/4 inch (6 mm) of solid cork: cork top layer, cork core, cork backing. Because the whole tile is low-density, sound-absorbing cork, there is no separate underlayment to buy or install. Underfoot it delivers what cork is known for: the textured look of hardwood, the soft give of carpet, and easy, vinyl-like maintenance, with a resilient, low-slip surface that is kind to seniors, children, and anyone with joint pain.

The 12 in x 24 in (305 x 610 mm) tiles are square-edged with a straight-cut profile, so they glue down seamlessly and the finished floor appears as one large continuous surface. Rated commercial class 32 and domestic class 23, Gray Bamboo is at home in kitchens, entryways, bathrooms, and light commercial spaces, on clean, level subfloors at or above grade.
