Stratum Cork Flooring
Swiss-made 7/16 in (11 mm) floating cork in soft neutral tones: warm underfoot, quiet by nature, and rated for commercial class 33 wear.
Stratum shows cork the way it grows: a light, organic pattern with distinctive natural bark markings, so no two planks read exactly alike. Its soft neutral coloring brightens a room and pairs easily with almost any cabinetry, furniture, or trim, in modern and traditional interiors alike.
Each plank is crafted in Switzerland as a three-layer sandwich: a 3 mm (about 1/8 in) natural cork top layer over a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, finished with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing. The Uniclic click-lock profile snaps planks together for a floating installation with no glue or nails.
Underfoot, cork is unlike any hard floor. Its cell structure (roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter) insulates against cold, so bare feet stay comfortable even in winter, and the material stays permanently elastic, easing foot and ankle fatigue. That same honeycomb structure absorbs impact sound instead of reflecting it, so rooms feel noticeably quieter.
The HotCoating wear surface with a water-based Natural Shield polyurethane finish protects against everyday spills and traffic, which is why Stratum is at home in living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, and condominiums, and holds up in commercial spaces too.
