Snow Cap Cork Flooring

Real wood on top, cork underneath: a pale, snow-bright plank rated for full commercial traffic.

Snow Cap is a Swiss-engineered floating plank that puts a genuine 1 mm (about 1/32 in) real wood surface where your feet land, not a photograph of one. The light, snow-capped tone brightens rooms that hardwood would darken, while the wood grain keeps the floor feeling authentic underfoot and up close.

Every layer is a natural material. The real wood face is bonded to a 6.8 mm (about 1/4 in) moisture-resistant HDF core, and a 1.2 mm (about 3/64 in) agglomerated cork backing is built into the plank, so the quiet, slightly cushioned feel of cork comes standard. Total thickness is 3/8 in (9.7 mm).

The surface is sealed with HotCoating protection and a high-resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish. That combination earns a durability rating rarely seen on wood floors: usage class 33 (AC5) for commercial spaces and class 23 for homes. It also means the maintenance list stays short: no varnishing, no oiling, no sanding, ever.

Planks click together with the patented Uniclic profile, an adapted Unilin click system tuned to exceed European standards. The joints lock watertight and stay closed, so the floor floats over your subfloor without open seams.

Yes. It is a floating floor with the Uniclic click-lock profile, so planks click together without glue or nails. The joints lock tighter than standard click systems, so use an 8 in (20 cm) taping block to close them; it takes a little extra effort but protects the plank edges and gives a precise, damage-free fit.
How does it handle spills and moisture?
The patented Uniclic joints lock watertight, with no open seams for liquid to slip through, and the 6.8 mm HDF core is E1-grade moisture-resistant board. That improves wear resistance at the joints and helps the floor shrug off everyday spills.
Is it tough enough for pets and heavy traffic?
