Modular Cork Flooring

A Swiss-made, 7/16 inch (11 mm) floating cork plank built to a commercial Class 33 rating, so the floor that keeps your home warm and quiet is also tough enough for a storefront.

Modular is real cork flooring made in Switzerland to a full 7/16 inch (11 mm) build. Each plank stacks a 3 mm layer of natural cork over a 6.8 mm moisture-resistant E1 grade HDF core, with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing underneath. That three-layer sandwich gives you the character of genuine cork on top and a stable, quiet foundation below.

Underfoot, it feels the way only cork can. Cork's cell structure packs roughly 40 million air-filled cells into every cubic centimeter, which is why the surface reads warm to bare feet even in winter and stays comfortable all year. The same honeycomb structure absorbs impact sound instead of bouncing it around the room, and it is permanently elastic: gentle on ankles, and a natural help against slips.

Durability comes from the factory-applied HotCoating surface protection, finished with a high-resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane. That protection carries the floor to usage Class 33 for commercial spaces and Class 23 for busy homes, and it guards against spills of many kinds. Planks have a clean square edge with no bevel and join with the Uniclic click-lock profile, so the floor floats over your subfloor and is rated for both floor and wall installation.

It is also a floor you can feel good about. Cork is harvested from the bark of the cork oak without damaging or felling a single tree; the oak lives up to 200 years, and one tree can be harvested around 20 times over its life.
