Midnight Slate Techslate Stone-Look Flooring
The depth and drama of dark slate, delivered as a warm, quiet, fully waterproof click-together plank. Midnight Slate gives you the deep, moody character of natural slate without the cold, hard feel of real stone. The surface is created with direct, lightfast digital printing rated above 7 on the ISO 105 scale, so the color stays true even in sun-drenched rooms, and a micro-beveled edge gives each plank the crisp definition of individual stone tiles. Under that surface sits a serious build: a 19/64 in (7.5 mm) plank with a mineral carrier plate core made predominantly of cement fiberboard, a highly viscoelastic intermediate layer, a ceramic-reinforced KORUS wear coating on top, and a GREEN Sound impact underlay already attached underneath. The result is completely waterproof, with 0% thickness swelling after 24 hours of water exposure. Underfoot, it behaves nothing like ceramic. The viscoelastic layer and attached underlay cut impact sound by approximately 19 dB and improve in-room sound by 35%, so it feels warmer and quieter than tile while still shrugging off chair casters, furniture drag, and heavy traffic. Rated Class 33 for commercial use and Class 23 for residential, it is built for the busiest spaces, including source-listed airports, cafes, hospitals, hotels, museums, offices, restaurants, saunas, schools, and retail shops. The Uniclic click-lock profile floats over the subfloor, and its exceptional dimensional stability (under 0.03%) allows installations up to roughly 10,700 sq ft (1,000 m²) without expansion or separation joints. Why this floor
