Desert Arable Cork Flooring
Sand dunes at dusk, not wood grain: a rippled blend of amber, honey, and butter that flows plank to plank. Most floors imitate wood. Desert Arable is one of the rare cork floors patterned after sand. Light, rippled movement in amber, honey, and butter tones drifts across each plank like dunes at dusk, with long, delicate strands of multi-colored cork winding through the pattern. Every plank is unique, subtle yet strong in character. Once assembled, the floor reads as one smooth, continuous, sinuous surface. There are no chunky flecks of cork breaking up the pattern, just quiet, uninterrupted movement that suits calm, contemporary rooms. Under that pattern sits a 25/64 inch (10 mm) floating plank: a 1/8 inch (3 mm) natural cork top layer over a 15/64 inch (6 mm) E1 class high density fiberboard core, with a 1/25 inch (1 mm) cork underlay already attached. The surface is sealed with a high resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane wear layer, and planks click together with the Uniclic profile, so the floor floats without glue or nails. Cork's natural cell structure makes this a floor you feel as much as see: warm and comfortable underfoot, quiet, and resilient. The low slip surface is a friendly choice for seniors, children, and anyone with arthritis or joint pain, and it earns its keep in living rooms, bedrooms, and light commercial spaces alike. Why this floor
- Sand-inspired pattern in amber, honey, and butter tones; a smooth, continuous look with no chunky cork flecks, and every plank unique.
- Industry-leading Uniclic click-lock profile: a floating installation with no adhesives or fasteners.
- Impact sound reduction of 19 dB (ΔLw, ISO 717-2, tested at 11 mm): keeps noise from transmitting down through the floor or up through the ceiling.

- Rated Domestic class 23 and Light Commercial class 38, with an impact resistant, stain resistant surface.
- Naturally resistant to insects, mold, and mildew thanks to cork's anti-microbial properties; hypo-allergenic and repels dust, hair, and other small particles as a well-being alternative to carpet.

I was looking for inexpensive cork flooring to redo a rental apt I’m in and I can just remove when I leave. I was so happy that I found icorkfloor.com from internet. My parents put cork floor tiles (glue down) in the kitchen of their previous house. My father told me that only cork flooring can provide warm and comfortable feeling. Cork is a natural material from bark of oak trees. I chosen cork flooring for my home also because cork is one of the most sustainable, economical products. This cork floor was inexpensive but doesn’t look it. I love is.

We bought this floor to use in a guest room. It’s beautiful.
The floor is very easy to install. We spend a lot of time to read the instruction in this website. Once we figured out, the install did go pretty quickly.
This product holding up very well.
