Rococo Cork Flooring
The drama of brown Italian marble, delivered in a warm, quiet cork plank that clicks together in a weekend.
Rococo is a floor built on movement. Instead of imitating wood grain, its pattern flows like veined marble: a medium-depth amber base of dark creams, caramels, and light beige, cut with splashes of swirling dark brown and fine black tiger striping. The striping adds flair without darkening the floor, so the room keeps its warmth while the surface keeps your eye moving.
A 1/2 inch (12 mm) floating plank with a 1/8 inch (3 mm) natural cork wear layer, a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1 class high-density fibreboard core and a 1/8 inch (3 mm) attached cork underlay.
Each 36 x 12 inch plank (35.43 x 11.81 inches actual, about 900 x 300 mm) joins with the patented Uniclic click-lock profile: no glue, no separate underlayment, and a square-edged design that reads as one continuous surface once installed. It can float right over many existing floors, which makes it a realistic do-it-yourself weekend project.
It is versatile enough for kitchens and basements, though not for bathrooms.
Why this floor
- Full 1/2 inch (12 mm) build: 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork wear layer over a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1 class HDF core with a 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork underlay already attached, one of the thickest floating cork floors available.
- Impact Insulation Class IIC 55 (tested on 5.5 inch concrete without a suspended ceiling) and ISO 140-8 impact noise reduction of 19 dB: noise stays out of the rooms below and above.
- Uniclic click-lock profile: glueless tongue and groove installation with a square edge and no bevel, so the finished floor looks like a single unit.
- Rated Domestic class 23 and Light Commercial class 44, with a high resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane wear layer that is stain and impact resistant.
- Natural insulation against thermal fluctuations: keeps heat in during winter and out during summer, trimming heating and cooling bills.
- Made with formaldehyde-free adhesives. Review the product’s emissions documentation.
- Backed by a 10-year residential wear warranty, a joint integrity warranty, and a lifetime structural warranty.

Important product note
Rococo is the replacement for the popular Rocky Bush cork flooring pattern. It carries the same tremendous movement, reinvented: rather than the look of a wood floor, Rococo leans toward the famous brown Italian marbles, with black tiger striping that adds flair without adding depth of color. If you loved Rocky Bush, this is its successor.

My husband put this cool cork floor in our house, and I was right there telling him he could do it! At first, he wasn’t sure if cork was a good idea, but now he thinks it’s awesome. It looks really different, and when you walk on it, it feels soft. It’s also super easy to wipe clean. After we put it down, we painted it twice with a special clear liquid called Loba water-based poly to keep it durable and waterproof.

We live in a dusty country,, and we removed the living room carpet to install Rococo cork flooring. The result is stunning, and wasn’t hard to install once we grasped it. Remarkably, even with our three German Shepherds, the finish remains unscathed, which was a concern for us. We absolutely love this cork! Definitely give it three coats if you have dogs.
