The warmest color scheme of our Design Cork line, Sandstorm cork planks are a gorgeous replica of the natural wood pattern, full of grace and movement. Beautiful and elegant, this color palate is set to stun or soothe, your décor is the deciding factor. Exult in the silky blend of colors that warms this lovely arrangement; creams, beige, tan and the softest touch of toast. With just the lightest texture, Sandstorm keeps itself from being plain with its touch factor too. Sandstorm is a perfect balance, able to create a serene place of rest or bring enough pop to brighten a cool palette.
Forna cork flooring has created a flooring hybrid that is stronger, tougher, but still retains all of cork’s best features including its eco sustainability. Thermal and sound insulation is here and so is the fact that our 11mm (7/16inch) thickness, a great accompaniment to under floor radaiant heating. The veneer layer of Design Cork planks are made from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) and phthalates free polypropylene, so you get a hard laminate layer that is durable and long lasting while also maintaining a good eco-balance. The cork layers give you all of corks benefit. And the HD fiberboard gives this floating floor a solid backing.

NATURAL PRODUCT
Cork is a purely natural product, which is extracted from the bark of the cork oak, which is mainly native to the Mediterranean region. No tree is damaged or felled by the peeling of the cork bark. Cork oaks grow up to 200 years old, so a cork oak can be peeled up to 20 times. Our cork flooring is mainly made of this fascinating and at the same time very versatile material – which makes it predestined for those who care about the environment and sustainability.
THERMAL ISOLATION
Due to its special cell structure (approx. 40 million cells per cm³) and its filling with an air-like gas, cork possesses unique properties, including high thermal isolation. Cork floors create an optimal floor temperature all year long – even in winter walking barefeet no longer causes cold feet.
DURABLE
The Hot-Coating surface protection makes the cork flooring durable and hard-wearing – in this way, even class 33 in the commercial sector and class 23 in the domestic sector is achieved. Thanks to this resistant coating, the cork floor retains its beauty for many years.
IMPACT SOUND REDUCTION AND PERMANENTLY ELASTIC
Equally noteworthy are the impact and sound-absorbing properties of cork (impact sound reduction of 18dB) – also thanks to the honeycomb cell structure. Cork floors are permanently elastic: the natural flexibility gives a particularly pleasant feeling when walking and is also gentle to the ankles.
WATERTIGHT JOINTS REQUIRES TAPING BLOCK TO INSTALL Exceptionally durable and waterproof, our Swiss cork flooring ensures tight joints and improved wear resistance. The patented Uniclic system provides a highly secure and watertight lock, surpassing standard versions. While installation may require extra effort with a taping block, it guarantees precision and prevents damage. Our adapted Unilin click system exceeds European Standards, eliminating open joints and ensuring stability.
