Snowstone Techslate Stone-Look Flooring

The look of pale slate with a mineral core: fully waterproof, fire rated A2fl-s1, and quiet underfoot. Snowstone brings a cool, light stone visual to your floor without the cold, the weight, or the grout lines of real slate. The surface is created with direct, lightfast digital printing and sealed under a KORUS ceramic-reinforced coating, so the pattern stays crisp and the color holds even in sun-drenched rooms (lightfastness rated above 7 on a scale of 1 to 8). Under that surface sits a very different build from ceramic or wood. Each 19/64 in. (7.5 mm) plank is engineered around a mineral carrier plate made predominantly from cement fiberboard, with a highly viscoelastic intermediate layer above it and a GREEN Sound impact underlay bonded beneath. The result feels warmer and more forgiving than tile, and it measures approximately 19 dB of impact sound improvement with 35% room sound improvement. The mineral core is also what makes Snowstone unusually stable. It is completely waterproof with 0% thickness swelling after 24 hours in water, and its dimensional stability (under 0.03%) allows continuous installations of up to roughly 10,700 sq ft (1,000 square meters) without expansion or separation joints. Planks click together with a Uniclic locking profile and float over the subfloor, four planks to a carton covering 18.22 sq ft. Rated Class 33 for commercial traffic and Class 23 for residential use, Snowstone is built for busy spaces: cafes, offices, and hospitals as much as kitchens and family homes. It is also an eco-conscious choice, designed to be dismantled easily and fully recyclable through a second-life process.
