Rococo Cork Flooring

The drama of brown Italian marble, delivered in a warm, quiet cork plank that clicks together in a weekend.

Rococo is a floor built on movement. Instead of imitating wood grain, its pattern flows like veined marble: a medium-depth amber base of dark creams, caramels, and light beige, cut with splashes of swirling dark brown and fine black tiger striping. The striping adds flair without darkening the floor, so the room keeps its warmth while the surface keeps your eye moving.

Under that pattern sits a full 1/2 inch (12 mm) of construction: a 1/8 inch (3 mm) natural cork wear surface and a 1/8 inch (3 mm) attached cork underlay sandwiched around a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1 class high density fiberboard core. That makes this one of the thickest floating cork floors on the market, and one of the best sound and thermal insulators in its class.

Each 36 x 12 inch plank (35.43 x 11.81 inches actual, about 900 x 300 mm) joins with the patented Uniclic click-lock profile: no glue, no separate underlayment, and a square-edged design that reads as one continuous surface once installed. It can float right over many existing floors, which makes it a realistic do-it-yourself weekend project.

Underfoot, the cork is resilient, low slip, and comfortable: a forgiving surface for seniors, children, and anyone with joint pain, and a hypoallergenic alternative to carpet that repels dust and hair. It is versatile enough for kitchens and basements, though not for bathrooms.

• Full 1/2 inch (12 mm) build: 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork wear layer over a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1 class HDF core with a 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork underlay already attached, one of the thickest floating cork floors available.

Important product note

Rococo is the replacement for the popular Rocky Bush cork flooring pattern. It carries the same tremendous movement, reinvented: rather than the look of a wood floor, Rococo leans toward the famous brown Italian marbles, with black tiger striping that adds flair without adding depth of color.
