Como Oak White Cork Flooring
A pale, white-washed oak look carried on 7/16 in (11mm) of Swiss-engineered natural cork: bright Scandinavian style overhead, warm and quiet underfoot. Como Oak White pairs a light, airy oak visual with everything cork does best. The color sits in the soft white-oak range that makes rooms feel larger and brighter, an easy match for modern, coastal, and Scandinavian interiors where dark floors would weigh the space down. Under the surface, this is a true engineered plank: a 0.12 in (3mm) natural cork top layer over a 0.27 in (6.8mm) E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, cushioned by a 0.05 in (1.2mm) agglomerated cork backing. The HotCoating wear layer and water-based Natural Shield polyurethane finish protect the surface hard enough to earn commercial class 33 and AC5 abrasion resistance, while the cork itself stays permanently elastic. That elasticity is what you feel every day. Cork's honeycomb structure, roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter, insulates the floor so it never feels cold barefoot, absorbs 18 dB of impact sound, and gives gently under each step in a way hard floors cannot. Planks click together with the patented Uniclic locking system in a floating installation: no glue, no nails, and joints that lock down watertight so the finished floor stays tight and stable for years. Why this floor
- Rated commercial class 33 and domestic class 23 (EN 16511) with AC5 abrasion resistance: tough enough for shops and offices, so it shrugs off busy family life.
- 18 dB impact sound reduction (EN ISO 717-2) from cork's honeycomb cell structure, approximately 40 million cells per cm³.
- Patented Uniclic click system locks watertight joints that exceed European standards, eliminating open seams; the E1 grade HDF core is moisture resistant with a 24 hour swelling value under 8% (EN 317).
- Layered comfort construction: 0.12 in (3mm) natural cork wear surface, 0.27 in (6.8mm) HDF core, and a built-in 0.05 in (1.2mm) agglomerated cork underlayment, 7/16 in (11mm) total.
- Naturally insulating: thermal resistance of 0.108 m² K/W keeps the surface comfortable barefoot all year.
- Emissions documentation: GreenGuard Gold and AgBB reports. Published fire classification: Cfl s1, EN ISO 9239-1.
- Backed by a 15 year residential and 5 year commercial warranty.
