A cool-tone taupe cork floor with hints of lilac and soft blue, built as a 1/2 inch (12mm) floating plank that quiets a room the moment it goes down. Gray Leather answers the gray trend without going flat or cold. The stain is a fashionable cool taupe shaded with lilac and soft blue, and it subtly hides the block pattern of the cork beneath it. What you see installed is a shadow-patterning: a hint of texture rather than a busy repeat, which helps a space feel larger. Each plank is a full 1/2 inch (12mm) thick sandwich: a 3mm cork top layer over a 6mm E1 class high density fiberboard core, with a 3mm cork underlay already attached underneath. That cork-on-both-sides construction is why the floor insulates against both sound and temperature swings, keeping unwanted heat out in summer and warmth in the room in winter. Underfoot it is warm, resilient, and low slip, which makes it a comfortable choice for seniors, children, or anyone dealing with arthritis or joint pain. The surface is stain resistant, impact resistant, and hypo-allergenic: it repels dust, hair, and other small particles, a well-being alternative to carpet. Planks click together with the industry-leading Uniclic profile and float over the subfloor, and the panels are made with formaldehyde free adhesives. Rated Domestic class 23 and Light Commercial class 41, it is at home in living rooms, bedrooms, and light commercial spaces alike.

Important product note

Gray Leather is available in two constructions that share the same color and pattern: this 1/2 inch (12mm) floating plank and a 6mm glue-down tile. Use the floating plank for living areas and bedrooms, and switch to the glue-down tile where moisture is a factor, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, and entranceways, so the look continues uninterrupted through the whole space.
