Each 7/16 inch (11 mm) plank is a three-layer sandwich: a 0.12 in (3 mm) natural cork top layer over a 0.27 in (6.8 mm) E1-grade moisture-resistant HDF core, finished with a 0.05 in (1.2 mm) agglomerated cork backing. The surface is sealed with HotCoating protection and a high-resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish, which is how this floor earns commercial Class 33 durability while staying soft and quiet to walk on.

Cork's honeycomb cell structure (roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter) gives the floor natural spring. It cushions joints and feet, absorbs impact and airborne sound, and with an R-value of 1.125 it insulates better than hardwood or tile, so bare feet stay comfortable even in winter.

Installation is glue-free: the planks click together with a Uniclic locking profile and float over the subfloor, a fast and DIY-friendly job with no nails or adhesive.
