Richwood Cork Wall Tile

A thick, bark-textured cork panel that soaks up an estimated 33 dB of noise while it warms the room. Richwood is 100% natural cork, cut a full 1/2 in (12 mm) thick and shaped into a 9-29/64 in x 31-1/2 in (240 mm x 800 mm) panel. The surface keeps the naturally uneven face of cork bark, so no two panels read exactly alike: the wall you build has the depth and shadow of real bark, not a printed pattern. That rugged texture is doing acoustic work, not just decorative work. The uneven surface diffuses sound in every direction, cutting reverb, echo, and reflection, while cork's honeycomb cell structure absorbs what hits it. The combination makes Richwood a natural fit for music rooms, home theaters, recording studios, cafes, meeting rooms, or simply the wall you share with a loud neighbor. Cork insulates against heat transfer the same way it insulates against sound, so a Richwood wall helps hold warmth in winter and cool air in summer, which can trim heating and cooling costs. Suberin, the waxy substance cork generates naturally, protects the panels from liquids, bugs, mold, and mildew, making this a hypoallergenic, well-being alternative to wallpaper. Installation is a straightforward glue-up with Wakol D3540 cork adhesive, on walls or ceilings, in residential, light commercial, and commercial spaces alike.
