Classic French chevron style in rich walnut tones, engineered in Switzerland with a commercial-grade wear surface and the quiet, warm comfort only cork delivers. Noble Chevron brings timeless European style to your home. A sophisticated walnut wood appearance is arranged in a classic chevron pattern inspired by traditional French parquet, creating a luxurious, distinctive look that elevates living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and upscale commercial spaces. You get the visual impact of premium hardwood with none of its hardness underfoot. Each 7/16 in (11 mm) plank stacks a 3 mm cork top layer over a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core, finished with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing. The result is a floor that is permanently elastic: gentle on ankles, comfortable barefoot, and quiet enough that it also works in a gym room. Cork's cell structure (approximately 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimeter) gives this floor natural thermal insulation, so it stays at a comfortable temperature all year, even for winter barefoot walks. And because cork is peeled from the bark of the cork oak without damaging or felling the tree, it is a purely natural, sustainable choice. The construction is PVC-free. Installation is a floating click-lock system: the patented Uniclic profile locks planks into tight, watertight joints. Tap them home with a taping block and the floor is ready to live on.

Important product note

This flooring uses an adapted Uniclic click system with watertight joints that require a taping block to install. Always tap planks together with a 20 cm (8 in) taping block rather than forcing them by hand: this prevents edge damage, guarantees precise, fully closed joints, and keeps the floor looking pristine.

Can I install this floor myself?

Yes. Noble Chevron is a floating floor with the patented Uniclic click-lock profile, so no glue or nails are needed. Plan on using a 20 cm (8 in) taping block to tap the joints closed: it takes a little extra effort but protects the plank edges and gives you tight, watertight joints. Order about 10% extra for cuts and waste.

Will it stand up to pets and heavy foot traffic?

Yes. The Hot-Coating wear surface earns an AC5 abrasion rating and Class 33 commercial classification, the floor is rated suitable for type W castor chairs, and residual indentation is limited to max. 0.15 mm. It carries a 15-year residential warranty and a 5-year commercial warranty.

What happens if something spills on it?

The Uniclic click system locks into watertight joints that exceed European standards, the HDF core is moisture resistant, and the 24-hour swelling value tests below 8% (EN 317). Everyday spills can be wiped up without worry.

Is it really quieter and warmer than hardwood?
