Autumn Leaves Cork Flooring
Organic, chunky cork character in a calm, easy-to-live-with pattern, built on a 1/2 inch (12 mm) Uniclic floating plank. Autumn Leaves is for people who want a floor that looks like real cork without shouting about it. The pattern is built from "wine cork" sized pieces scattered at random over a background of fine agglomerated cork, so the surface reads as natural and interesting rather than busy. It sits in a sweet spot: livelier than a traditional cork board, quieter than heavily figured chunky patterns, with just enough movement to hold your eye and hide everyday life. Under the surface it is a full 1/2 inch (12 mm) thick floating plank: a 1/8 inch (3 mm) natural cork top layer over a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1 class high density fiberboard core, with a 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork underlay already attached. That attached underlay means no separate underlayment to buy or install, and it is a big part of why this floor is so quiet and warm underfoot. Day to day, cork's resilience does the work. The surface is warm, low slip, and gently cushioned, which makes it a favorite for seniors, kids, and anyone with arthritis or joint pain. It is naturally resistant to insects, mold, and mildew, hypoallergenic, and repels dust and hair, so housekeeping stays simple. The high resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane wear layer keeps the finish stain resistant and easy to clean.Why this floor

It’s been over 6 months since we put this floating cork floor in our living room, kitchen, and my home office. We have put two coat of poly that Icork recommenc. There really isn’t any signs of wear anywhere on this cork floor. No scratches. However, there is noticeable fading in front of a sliding door. We have added UV-protective films on our windows.
