Create micro-abrasion for adhesion
No visible sanding marks
Always test on a spare plank or tile first
Vacuum thoroughly
Damp wipe using:
Clean microfiber mop

Buckling
Lipping
Separation
Do NOT apply finish – investigate installation or moisture issues first
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with clean water.
Clean the floor with a damp cloth or mop only after the finish has fully cured.
Do not clean with water or detergents during the first week following application.
After one week, begin routine maintenance using Hardwood Floor Cleaner.
Place walk-off mats at all entryways to help minimize dirt and grit.
Sweep or vacuum daily to remove abrasive particles.
Damp-wipe as needed using Hardwood Floor Cleaner.
Install felt pads under furniture legs and appliances.
Move furniture and heavy appliances carefully to prevent surface damage.
Products containing plasticizers—such as carpet padding, furniture pads, chair casters, elastic adhesives, and similar materials—may cause softening or discoloration of the finish. Avoid prolonged or direct contact with these materials.
Drying and curing times are based on ideal conditions:
68°F (20°C)
50% relative humidity
Recommended application thickness
Curing time may be extended by:
Poor ventilation
High humidity
Low temperatures
Excessive finish build
Do not cover floors, reinstall carpets or rugs, or clean with a damp cloth or mop until full cure has been achieved.
When applying multiple coats, additional coats may be applied within 24 hours without intermediate sanding.
If more than 24 hours pass between coats, intermediate sanding is required.
Light sanding before the final coat is recommended to achieve a smoother, more uniform surface.
Remove all sanding dust thoroughly before applying additional coats.
LOBA 2K Supra AT is a professional, high-performance finish. Cork flooring is more porous and reactive than traditional hardwood, making correct timing, sanding grit, and climate control critical to success.
When in doubt, test first and contact LOBA-WAKOL Technical Service before proceeding.
