Hydrowood
Hydrowood is a core used in click flooring. Review the selected product’s water-resistance test results and installation limits before comparing it with other core materials.
Hydrowood permits installations up to 100 feet long and 65 feet wide without separating joints, subject to the product’s installation conditions. Review the temperature, sunlight and expansion requirements before planning a large area.
The core is integrated with Forna’s precision-engineered Unilin click system, which boasts a high fitting accuracy of +/- 0.03 mm. This precision, combined with the non-absorbent surface of Hydrowood, facilitates a watertight seal between planks, enhancing the floor’s overall durability and moisture resistance.
Moreover, Hydrowood floors include a cork backing that significantly reduces both ambient room noise and the sound of footfalls, offering a quieter flooring solution that is up to 40% more silent than traditional laminate floors.
Hydrowood uses a locking mechanism with vertical and horizontal connections. Follow the fitting instructions and the selected flooring product’s installation and moisture requirements.
