Forna Forna Natural Composite Floating Flooring – Warranty Conditions
Warranty Declaration
iCork Floor LLC, as the authorized distributor and warranty provider for Forna Forna Natural Composite Floating Flooring, offers this warranty in addition to all statutory consumer rights. This warranty covers the product’s structural integrity, bonding, and surface coating when the flooring is installed and used under normal residential or commercial conditions.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse, excessive wear, moisture exposure, or incorrect maintenance. Natural color or pattern variation between planks is normal and is not considered a defect.
Warranty applies only to first-quality Forna products used indoors within the recommended classification.
Warranty Duration
Forna Forna Natural Composite Floating Flooring is covered for:

15 years – Residential use (Class 23)

5 years – Commercial use (Class 33)
Coverage begins on the original purchase date.
Pro-Rated Coverage (“New for Old” Deduction)
If a claim is approved within the warranty period:

Residential installations → 8% reduction per year
-
Commercial installations → 20% reduction per year
Warranty Conditions
1. Installation Requirements
To remain eligible for warranty protection:
-
Flooring must be installed exactly per the Forna installation guidelines included with the product.

Subfloor moisture testing must be performed as instructed.
-
Radiant heating installation guidelines must be followed.
-
Planks must be inspected in daylight prior to installation.
-
Any plank with visible defects must not be installed.
Improper installation automatically voids the warranty.
2. Cleaning & Care Requirements

Maintenance must follow Forna’s official care instructions.
-
Use only approved cleaning products.
-
The protective surface coating naturally wears over time; normal wear is not covered.
-
When surface wear becomes noticeable, the floor must be recoated by a qualified flooring professional.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Damage due to improper installation or use of unapproved underlayments
-
Mechanical damage: dents, scratches, gouges, pet damage
-
Water or moisture damage (spills, flooding, leaks, high humidity)
-
UV fading or color change from sunlight
-
Damage caused by improper cleaning products
-
Subfloor failure or movement
-
Labor costs of any kind
-
Removal, disposal, or reinstallation expenses
-
Flooring installed in non-recommended environments (outdoors, saunas, etc.)
Submitting a Warranty Claim
To file a claim:

Submit a written request to iCork Floor LLC.

Include the original purchase invoice — this is your warranty certificate.

Claims cannot be processed without the invoice.

iCork Floor LLC will respond within four (4) weeks with an approval or denial.

iCork Floor LLC or its authorized inspector must be given access to inspect the installation.
-
Any requested documentation or samples must be provided within two (2) weeks.
Failure to provide access or documentation may void the claim.
Extent of Warranty
If a warranty claim is approved:
iCork Floor LLC will, at its discretion:

Repair the affected plank(s), or
-
Replace them with new Forna planks from the same product line (if available)
Replacement flooring will be provided free of charge at the original point of sale.
Important Limitations
This warranty does not include:

Labor for removal or installation
-
Costs of disposal, transportation, or accommodation
-
Any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages
Receiving replacement materials does not extend the original warranty period.
Warranty claims must be completed within six (6) months after approval and cannot exceed the original warranty timeframe.
