A half inch of raw cork bark on your wall: it soaks up an estimated 33 dB of noise while it warms the room.

Slimwood brings the bark of the cork oak indoors almost exactly as nature grew it. Each panel is 100% natural cork with the characteristically uneven surface of cork bark, a texture that scatters sound waves instead of bouncing them back at you. The result is a wall that visibly reads as organic wood grain and audibly cuts reverb, echo, and reflection.

At a substantial 1/2 in (12 mm) thick, each 9-29/64 in x 31-1/2 in (240 mm x 800 mm) panel covers 2.07 sq ft and glues directly to walls or ceilings using Wakol D3540 cork adhesive. Cork's honeycomb cell structure insulates against both thermal and acoustic transfer, so the same panel that quiets a drum room also helps keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, trimming heating and air conditioning costs.
