Honey Oak Natural Composite Flooring

The warm glow of honey oak on Forna Natural Composite, built over a waterproof core that shrugs off spills and heavy traffic.

Honey Oak brings a golden, sunlit oak look to a floor built with a natural linseed composite surface: linseed oil, pine resin, limestone, cork wood flour, and jute. The color is applied with direct, lightfast digital printing and rates higher than 7 on the ISO 105 lightfast scale, so the honey tones stay vibrant even in rooms with strong sun exposure.

Each 48.6 in x 7.9 in (1235 x 200 mm) plank is 3/8 in (9.5 mm) thick and built in three layers: a 1.5 mm natural linseed composite surface sealed with a hardwearing PU protection layer, a 6.8 mm waterproof Hydrowood core, and a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing. The result swells less than 1 percent after 24 hours in water (EN 317), so an overflowing sink or a wet mop is not a crisis.

Underfoot it behaves nothing like laminate or tile. The natural composite surface and cork backing add warmth, spring, and quiet, cutting impact sound by roughly 18 dB. Planks click together with a Uniclic locking profile and float over the subfloor, no glue or nails, with square edges and no bevel for a clean, continuous surface.

With a class 33 commercial durability rating and class 23 domestic rating (EN 16511), Honey Oak is at home in busy kitchens, hallways, and family rooms as well as offices and retail spaces. It is also optimized for underfloor heating and carries UL GreenGuard Gold certification for low emissions and healthier indoor air.
