Forna Natural Composite Flooring pairs a natural linseed composite surface with a waterproof Hydrowood core and cork backing. These 9.5mm click planks are rated Class 23 residential and Class 33 commercial. Natural surface. Waterproof core. Commercial-grade performance.

FORNA NATURAL COMPOSITE

Natural surface. Waterproof core. Commercial-grade performance.

This is not conventional sheet flooring. Forna Natural Composite is a 9.5mm engineered click plank that combines a 1.5mm natural linseed composite surface, a waterproof Hydrowood core, and an attached cork backing.

Natural composite surface

Linseed oil, pine resin, limestone, wood/cork flour, and jute form the surface composite. A hardwearing PU protection layer supports everyday maintenance.

Waterproof Hydrowood core

The engineered core records less than 1% swelling after 24 hours in water under EN 317 and supports floating click installation.

Class 23 / 33 performance

Rated for heavy domestic and heavy commercial use, with cork backing for approximately 18dB of impact-sound reduction.

What makes it more capable than classic sheet flooring?

The natural surface heritage is only one layer of the system. Hydrowood and cork add the water resistance, click installation, stability, sound control, and underfoot comfort that conventional sheet constructions do not provide as an integrated plank.

Transparent material description

The 1.5mm surface uses linoleum-composite technology; “Natural Composite” names the complete multilayer Forna system. The finished plank is not a single-material product: it also includes a PU protection layer, an engineered Hydrowood core, and cork backing. We do not describe the whole plank as plastic-free, biodegradable, or entirely plant-based without product-specific substantiation.
