Walnut Burlwood is the strong, silent type: a dark cork floor you can use where a mid-tone would normally go. Packed with warm brown highlights, it shows two sides of its personality depending on the lighting. In low light it reads deep and dark; in full light the burlwood pattern dazzles and the color comes alive.

That mix of warm browns and cool undertones makes this floor easy to place in rooms that juggle multiple themes. Renovating usually means compromising between old and new, and when several wood tones already live in the space, Walnut Burlwood offers a simple way to tie them together.

Underfoot, this is a floating plank with real substance: a 1/8 inch (3 mm) natural cork wear surface over a 1/4 inch (6 mm) E1-class high density fiberboard core, with a 1/8 inch (3 mm) cork underlay already attached. The result is warm, quiet, and resilient, with a low-slip surface that is kind to seniors, children, and anyone with arthritis or joint pain.

Cork is a healthy choice too: hypo-allergenic, it repels dust, hair, and other small particles, making it a well-being alternative to carpet. It resists insects, mold, and mildew thanks to cork's natural anti-microbial properties, and the planks are made with formaldehyde-free adhesives, an ecologically friendly floor from a completely natural, renewable material.
